Faculty
The Graphic & Web Design program at North Idaho College is taught by instructors who work professionally in design and web development. They lead studio-based courses built around real projects, where students learn through regular critique and working alongside their classmates.
Students work closely with instructors as they develop portfolio projects, participate in critiques, and prepare for the annual GDES Portfolio Show.
Teaching Design Through Practice
Faculty teach in a studio setting. Students take each project from research and early concepts through critique and revision, working closely with instructors and classmates along the way. It is how they build the practical skills to produce professional-quality portfolio work.
Faculty & the Portfolio Show
Faculty guide students through the development of the annual GDES Portfolio Show. While the event is designed and produced by the graduating class, instructors mentor students as they develop the show identity, website, promotional materials, and exhibition of their work.
